Environmental Consulting
Environmental due diligence is a proactive approach to addressing environmental risk. It involves investigating historical land use, conducting site inspections, and evaluating potential contamination issues. The goal is to provide informed decision-making by identifying and understanding environmental concerns that may impact the property value or pose regulatory and financial risks.
New Jersey LSRP Services
A New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) is an environmental expert appointed by the state to manage the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites. The primary focus of the LSRP is to prioritize the safeguarding of public health, safety, and the environment.
Peak Environmental, a Nova Group company, has a team of Licensed New Jersey LSRPs equipped to assist businesses in managing their environmental responsibilities.
Peak is committed to delivering high-quality and cost-effective consulting services for identifying and addressing environmental concerns. Our dedication extends to assisting businesses in navigating the complexities of environmental regulations, ensuring seamless compliance for sustainable operations.
Peak’s LSRPs
Peak's LSRPs play a crucial role in ensuring the success of a project. They establish clear project goals and align them with the client's agreed-upon endpoint – usually the issuance of a Response Action Outcome (RAO).
The LSRPs take charge of all aspects of assigned projects. They oversee the preparation of necessary submissions, including forms and reports, and make sure they are completed within the regulatory and mandatory timeframes set by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).

Illinois Environmental Protection Agency NFRs
Contaminated properties have decreased value due to financial liability for cleanup and use restrictions. A No Further Remediation (NFR) letter granted by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) permanently identifies the property as contaminated, but also indicates compliance with state guidelines.
While it acknowledges the contamination, having an NFR letter can restore some, if not all, of the property's pre-contamination value. This facilitates financing, simplifies property transactions, and makes buying and selling more straightforward.
A site cleanup program is often necessary to obtain a No Further Remediation (NFR) letter from a state regulatory agency. The letter assures buyers and developers that a site does not pose a threat to human health or the environment.

Carlson Environmental, a Nova Group company, provides innovative and cost-effective environmental due diligence. For site investigation and remediation services, our team conducts soil and groundwater investigations to determine the extent of contamination and identify cleanup strategies.
We then develop budgets and time frames so clients can make informed business decisions about the purchase or development of a property.
